I honestly think that it’s the staff at some thrift stores that want the items for themselves and that’s why they either arrive on the floor with no tag or there’s a delay in pricing. Of course they could have a stick up there !$$# too.😂 That desk is really pretty. You can use those color pens and the wipe on restore a finish. It should work great if the scratches are not too deep. If not wood filler is your friend, and then the pens. But it will look amazing. Stay warm hon, the weather is mental right now. Karrie, I worked at an art gallery back in the day. That giant art piece will be great for you to paint over.If you spray the back of the canvas with hot water & let it dry, it will tighten back up and all the ripples will be gone. Just a little tip for you 😊.

Karrie, if you r looking for shelves/ drawers for your fridge, the best place to go is the local dump. I know, gross, but the large appliances are usually in their own section, and often, the drawers and shelves r compatible with many styles. Our daughter broke the one arm off of one of the freezer door shelves, that clip in, and we found not only 1, but we could have gotten 4 with the supply of fridges sitting there waiting to be recycled. Saved me about 2000.00 replacing the whole fridge.

Karrie Have you thought about a folding table in your laundry room ? Where you want to put the treadmill would be ideal but a drop down table across from the washer/dryer would work too. And when finished drop it down and it’s out of the way !! You can buy the special hinges at lowes or Home Depot

Surprisingly I found replacement shelf’s on Amazon for $19.99-$29.99 which included 2 shelves. Did a lot of reading - searched by model. Most fits were semi universal fitting multiple models.

@Karrie Lynn If your desk is all real wood. I've used Old English Oil to oil up an old table and it done wonders to the table. I think it comes in a couple different shades for your wood to help revitalize your wood.

Karrie, I agree with some of your subs. I think the worker(s) were keeping the item for themselves or friends and families to shop. Most thrift stores will not block an instant sale. They are there to make $ and if they were pricing some items off the truck or bin, why not do the same for you?! Just sayin....Anyway, you got some great deals. Btw you're entitled to shop if you please. You mentioned you were opting to thrift mostly going forward to stay on budget and limit the Amazon purchases.
