The "Yeahs" was actually written in the songs! They had to be edited out due to copyright claims! 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, James Brown actually owns those rights! 😬 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jk aside, James Hetfield is very talented and I respect him as a fellow musician, I think Metallica is a awesome band and I rarely listen to anything else except The Big 4!

Battery and some other songs have really weird accents and are not quite 4/4. I yet have problem to nail Battery like that. I have to show this video to every one-year-playing wannabee guitarist who proclaims Metallicas Songs are easy- like Master. In comments I say to those: how and how fast are you playing it ? Are you downpicking or alternating ? Metallica is playing these songs so fast with downpicking only, that I am struggling to play along... and Hetfield is singing too.

Yeah I totally agree that lot of Metallica songs have these little details that makes them lot harder to play than they first sound like, and many songs are really easy to play "sort of right" but once you dig in and find how they actually play them, it gets really tough. Had to trade it back in for an ESP Horizon instead because the ash body, maple neck, maple fretboard, and those Dimarzio pickups were wayyyyy too bright for me...no matter what I did I couldnt get any bass into my tone. I didn't believe in tonewood until I got this guitar. It could have just been the pickups but all the tonewood of this guitar had bright properties to them.

The REALLY hard part is playing these rhythm riffs while singing. How James can write such complexity and sing is beyond me. I can't do both no way never could! Also... *anyone else learn BLACKENED wrong from the tab books?* Before the internet you had to buy books shocking I know. So if the scorer made a mistake it was published and done.

Same for Megadeth. I learned all of Rust In Peace from a book. Tab is awesome for getting the general vibe, but then your ears will tell you how it goes. I'm classically trained, and could sight read score once upon a time lol. And I still say tab is the best thing ever. Back when I was getting that classical training the books for like Van Halen were in score only... like seriously wtf right... even if they were published FOR guitar, Eddie's solos in score aren't exactly legible. But before tab most books were "dual or triple use" ie. they were meant for piano/guitar/vocals (because yes every lyric was scored out too sometimes.) Tab changed EVERYTHING. And so did Hetfield and Mustaine: the tab books were published a decade after those early albums were released. M & M changed the way mainstream saw metal.

Yahli Its an Ibanez Prestige RG652AHMFX. I had the same guitar but had to send it back because the frets were completely unlevel and the neck pocket was messed up. Granted, if the guitar WAS in perfect condition I would have LOVED to keep it because the thing is damn gorgeous. The only problem with the 652 models is that right now its their most popular Prestige so they are building so many of them that every one of them cant get the best quality control you would expect from a Prestige. I was very disappointed, but I ended up returning this guitar and threw a few more hundred down for an ESP Horizon NT2. The ESP came in perfect condition and setup...didnt have a single flaw...granted it was $2,000 compared to the 652's $1,200 price tag.
