FISHING FOR OPAL - White Cliffs - Outback NSW - Dugout tour & more!

In the last episode you saw our journey to White Cliffs and in this ep we take you for a tour around the place, show you the opal fields, do some very unusual fishing and even get a walk through a locals dugout. The Dugout was really cool as it wasn't a tour just a super friendly man who we met at the pub, who offered to show us through his home. That's the beauty of the Aussie outback, everyone is so welcoming - and this town in particular is very small but has a whole lot to offer!!!

Right! White Cliffs is on the bucket list (bucket #23)! Thanks guys, you presented the place at its finest. Must remember - go there in March before the throngs of crowds show up. Now, I don't know about Mal "building" his place underground, more like digging his place. What a great idea - need an extra room? The pick is over there.

Yeah I think the oka is for you guys and I will miss seeing the kombi but also I do like seeing your activities. I think a lot of people want the security in life so the consequence is a lost adventure in life , that’s how I see it . WHAT is wrong is that if you get a Gold Claim you must repatriate the Land back to the original when finished ie No Sign of any Mining , out there its a disgrace with Mines just deserted and left open with no care at all for what was. A Terrible place never to be visited in my mind. OR take Kids there to show them what NEVER to do to an environment

Geez , ya wouldn't want a plug fail on wearing thongs ( flip flops ) around the mine shafts , would want to be 100% sure of your footing cause she's a hard one way trip .
