note: in an interview with takehiro miyashita,he was asked if the name of the brand name was inspired by the revolution nine as stated by karsten. the song sounds strange in my opinion, nothing i’ve never heard before. But, in the interview he replied, paraphrasing, -it was just a lucky number, he had never really thought of it that much. But as krasten said, he always referred to post punk so yeah. you can check archivepdf for the interview. great video regardless
