Hi Karthik, I've read that crc has a capability to detect the burst errors of length upto the degree of the generator polynomial. But I don't understand how can we know that at the receiving end that say some 'n' number of errors has occurred during the transmission.

'n' may be less than the degree of generator polynomial, please help me in understanding this other than telling just as the remainder is non-zero there is an error detected.
