Synchronous clock vs Asynchronous clock

Hi Sir, I got a doubt. If two clocks are there from two different sources, but they are in phase with each other with different frequency , can we call it as synchronous?

Basava , thanks for asking the question, if two clocks are from different sources means they are asynchronous , even if they are in phase.

both are synchronous only, the right definition of synchronized clock is 1.) they should be from one clock source and 2nd one is either they should have 0 phase difference or deterministic or we can say equal phase difference.

Thank you. There is A clock and a generated B clock by 1/2 from A clock. Are A clock and B clock synchronous ?

Lets say if I used clock divider I have one source and țhe clock divider divided the clock into 3 different clock and I used those three diffrent clock in different block, so can we call this asynchronous , Thanks in advanced for your reply

so if we have 2 clocks from same source but the 2nd clock is having some skew, so it will not in the same phase with the 1st clock , so will it be considered as asynchronous clocks?

If there is no constant phase, then it's not synchronous.
