Karting track in Koper / Slovenia

A few laps on the karting track of Koper which finally opened its gates again this year. Thanks to my friend of ProKarting Brnik, we waited sooo long to drive there :-)

Ich hoffe, dass alles richtig übersetzt wird. Als App verwende ich Racechrono. Für Android gibt es eine kostenlose Version. Für iOS kostet sie im Moment 25 Euro einmalig. Glaube ich. Zusätzlich koppel ich die App mit einem externen GPS Empfänger. Meiner heißt Racebox Mini und ist sensationell. Sehr exakt und sehr schnell mit 25 Hz. Für das Lenkrad nutze ich ein normales Fitnessarmband. Allerdings eines mit einer Verlängerung, da man es dann bei einem Drei-Speichen-Lenkrad besser befestigen kann. Einmal oben um die mittlere Speiche rum, damit es nicht verrutscht. Die Einblendung der Daten mache ich normalweise über Dashware. Aber da ich im Moment im Urlaub bin, habe ich direkt die Funktion dafür von Racechrono verwendet. @@Oasche Awesome, I bought a bike holder with velcro for the phone, I'll try it out today to see how it works. How different is the Racebox mini performance compared to the phone?

@@jebotipasmater It is really a huge difference. Usually you have only 1 Hz on your internal GPS. The Racebox Mini is running with 25 Hz. That is really an impressive difference. But it is not only about the update rate. I had also 5 Hz and 10 Hz receivers from QStarz. They were also good enough for getting your laptimes. But Racebox Mini is always very accurate. It is the best GPS receiver I ever had.

@@Oasche That's awesome! But I guess RaceChrono might be using the accelerometer data for more accurate position changes also? Or is it just the prediction of the GPS track that makes the track on the map look smoother?
