Old style hand held wobble but wonderful. Thanks for posting /preserving, cheers.

Thanks GHt. Really glad you’re enjoying the collection. Fair point about the hand wobble, but I think a tripod might just have been a bit too much equipment for Alan on his bicycle!

Didn't know 33s ever worked the North Wales line.

They had a daily diagram along the coast for a few years Shane. It was basically a Cardiff to Crewe working extended to Bangor. Interestingly, on arrival in Bangor, the loco would detach from the stock in the down platform and run round before propelling the stock into the western tunnel and then running loco first into the stub behind the down platform for stabling. Before departing eastwards, it would again propel the stock into the western tunnel and then run forwards, crossing over into the up platform.

That looked like a West Coast set behind the Peak. Anyway, the Sprinter was 1502 to Llandudno, so if anyone has a 1986 timetable to hand they might be able to work it out

think peak was 1055 bangor holyhead - which arrived at Holyhead about 100 and then did 1703 holyhead - York

Nice video. The absolute final picture is of the WCML. Is that video already upoloaded (which number), or is this coming?

Glad you're enjoying the videos Padishar. The last scene is indeed a sneak preview of Episode 43, but Parts 11 and and 25 also feature footage taken at Crewe and lineside North of Crewe. Part 35 is filmed at Euston and Part 12 at Liverpool Lime St.

@@kartwheelkarl I think I've watched all your (UK) clips. 70s/80s is my era and WCML my favourite stretch of line. I like to see the formations of the era, so especially enjoy the shots where you get to see the whole train

Isnt this part 43 as part 42is dawlish? Or have i missed something?

Oops! Thank you for pointing out my mistake Richard. This is actually Part 42, Dawlish Warren was meant to be Part 41. I'll have to go in and edit that.

Can’t work out what working the Peak Is on near the end - they rarely worked out of Crewe so unsure if it’s a London working - perhaps a relief?. Another brilliant video. Real clip down memory lane

Glad you're enjoying the collection Dean. The Peak running non stop through Lllandudno Junction had me baffled too. Peaks we of course regular performers on the North Wales Coast line, but there's no way that's a Trans Pennine rake - it would indeed appear to be a west coast rake. Moreover, it was incredibly unusual for anything to run nonstop through LJ - even the limited stop Holyhead to Euston stopped there (Bangor being the only other stop before Chester). So as you say, it's very confusing.
