history lesson: the "nut" in "doughnut" is because originally, a donut was what we call today a "donut hole" and anything small and round, like a donut hole, was just called a nut. so the modern donut was named after the hole, or rather, the nut

As for other (nuts), Here are a few that you might like. 1. A Lavanut: it is a nut made out of lava. 2. Robotnut: it's a nut that has been sent ten thousand years into the future and then came back all robotic like. 3. Bonenut: instead of a virus, these bonenuts connect to the merrow in the bone and transforms it into a hardened nut. 4. Catnut: it's a nut with whiskers, ears and a tail.

A little cool fact about why there called doughnuts. When they were first invented, bakers put chopped nuts in the center because the center would stay gooey and unbaked so by adding the nuts it helped combat this problem until they started cutting the centers out
