Kashif n Morgan are astronomical. their vocal ability is just out of this world. im so crushed to have recently found out that the Legend Kashif had passed on since 2016. that's beyond sad. he has given the world everlasting joy through his creations that will forever be cherished. Michael Jones his real name is. He wasn't a very popular man but every song he did was a greatest hit. To iron up the song Ms Morgan does a great job. I was about 5 with this song played. 23yrs later I am still enjoying it.

That was his birth name. Kashif Saleem became his real name when he changed it. And he was indeed very popular for his great body of work in the music industry, in education, in charity and in philanthropy. He launched many artists to stardom such as Whitney Houston and Kenny G. Please don’t say that he was not very popular as that isn’t true. It may just be that you did not hear much about him. Those of us who were grown up in the 80s knew Kashif and his work. ❤

this song was written by Skip Scarborough and the original song by Mother's Finest lead singer Joyce Kennedy ..they did an amazing job in their version ..which was back then more like Chaka Khan Funk Rock type of music. But this song was the one i heard first and the Harmonies in this one blows me away ...plus i feel the Duet thing worked out too
