The pink color comes from the reaction of the green pigment in the green tea leaves and baking soda. Kewah ko boil karte hue 1 tsp baking soda daal dein aur phir thande pani k sath achi trah phaint lein to kewah bilkul khoon ki trah red ho jata hai. Tried and tested. No color needed. In sha Allah will upload a recipe soon.

Its not about haram or halal here. Its about authentic original recipe of Kashmiri tea. It may taste differently too. Biryani and other dishes are made like that. Personally, i dont want my Kashmiri tea to look like rooafsa like pink.

Sir boiling green tea for a long time 40-45 minutes on medium to low flame would result in pink colour. Then even baking soda is not required, however one may add it for expediting the procedure. Cold water is necessary in between to turn the colour of the concoction even darker. 🙏 Love from New Delhi

@@GhashiaIrshad Boil green tea for as long as it turns dark red. Trust me nothing is required. It might even take upwards of 30 minutes or even 45 minutes to change colour. When the water evaporates and the pan has very little water left, you can add cold water: that will make it even darker. Later you can add milk, salt, and dry fruits as per your preference.

For the first time your claim, recepie and perception of pink tea/ noon chai/ Kashmiri chai is totally wrong. I am Kashmiri and make pink tea myself. First it's not taken with sugar. Second it takes about an hour or more to make it. If you want to learn it ask me but don't claim it's always artificial. It's natural pink. Regards
