Kass is the best character in the entire game. When you first meet him he acts naive about your identity, randomly singing songs about an ancient trial or legend and acting like he doesn't know who it's for. But after so much time spent together he returns home and sings a song from his teacher to help Link find the determination to finally defeat Ganon. And in the end he refers to you as the hero and you realize he's known all along. That's perfect character and writing.

I swear, Kass's final song gets me all misty-eyed. It's insane that they turned the main theme of the franchise into a love song of all things, a song about rescuing essentially the protagonist's sweetheart, how she hopes every day he will come to her rescue, and how she hopes he feels the same as she does.

The reason I like this is because there is *so much power* behind every note, so that when you listen to it it feels like you are in another world altogether. It also inflicts a feeling of nostalgia by pulling instruments and themes from the other games, Ravali’s theme, the Ocorana, the flute from windwaker, so many thing put together to create an amazing song. This will probably go down as one of the most remembered songs of Zelda, along with Song of Storms and Lost Woods from Majora’s mask.

7 days ago I decided to play Breath of the Wild from square one (again), and now that I have completed all the shrines (again), freed all the divine beasts (again), and the final battle looms (again), I cannot help but wonder how many people did not visit all of kass's locations and hear this song. Every moment prior to hearing it (finally finished everything up shrine-wise and felt it was appropriate it to hear the final song) was spent, on some level, anticipating that moment when I would hear this tune (again). Kass and his accordian are a legend in and of themselves, and I think this remix really captures that

It's just the first part that's hard, what with the Silver Lazalfos and lack of powerful weapons. The Middle and Final trials are relatively moderate in difficulty. Sure, I died on them quite a few times, but most of those were just stupid mistakes. Also, make sure you check all the final trial rooms for ancient arrows. I believe there are a total of 9 or 12 Ancient arrows, and can be used to one shot the guardians, Lynels, and the golden enemies.
