I'm just going to forget that Kat & Alfie came back in 2010 and put their marriage in jeopardy again. Kat getting pregnant with Michael's baby, Ronnie switching her dead baby with Kat's baby, Kat having an affair with Derek, Alfie getting together with Roxy and marrying her, Alfie setting fire to the Slater's house and almost getting Kat killed, Alfie being diagnosed with a brain tumour etc. I'm pretending none of that ever happened. As far as I'm concerned, this was their final appearance. They never came back to Walford and they're still out there seeing the world. Also, even though I stopped watching EastEnders in 2007 (then started watching again in 2010 and then stopped again in 2012), I'm beginning to think I should have stopped watching right here. Going into 2006, things really started to get depressing, especially after Pauline died the following Christmas.

Kat and Alfie are back now. Alfie has only had 1 appearance so far but we will see more of him, as for Kat and Alfie together, well Eastenders have ruined them again. Kat had an affair in Spain, wasn’t watching the kids and one of the twins spilled boiling hot water on themselves leading to the split of Kat and Alfie because Alfie blamed her. Although he still didn’t know at that point, the reason she was not watching was because of her affair. Hayley Slater, Kats cousin, told him after she went to see him to tell him that she was pregnant with his baby, as after Kat and Alfie split, Alfie slept with Hayley. Kat still doesn’t know. Eastenders are always ruining them and I doubt we will ever see them happy for good.
