Yes, there is an anime, named Natsume's Book Of Friends or Natsume Yuujinchou (in Japanese). It is a six season anime which centers around Natsume, a boy who has the ability to see Yokai (Supernatural Being in Japanese) and his quest to make Yokai friends, with the help of a book, which contains the names of the Yokai. Furthermore, this season is more on comedic side, rather than wholesome and heart-warming as the first season. Also, I am kind of waiting to see your reaction for especially Episode 2, Episode 3 and Episode 8 (This is arguably the funniest episode of this entire series). The person with blue hair dancing in the ending sequence is Naruse Shishito, and I can tell you, he is the most hilarious character in this season, also one of the characters who are gravely responsible for the utter hilarity of Season 2.

The video really feels like watching a real classroom; seeing how all the characters interact without Komi make them more realistic and how they are their own persona and not just background/secondary characters in someone else's life. Also the song makes me feel very nostalgic of my school days.

I love this season 2 ending. Two sides of the story: the first one telling us how Komi's life would have been without Tadano in her life (she is alone the whole time) and the last one with Tadano being the keystone for her.

It wasn't so much that Nakanaka's room looked like a "boy's" room as that it looked like an "otaku's" room. We may not think it's a bad thing to be an otaku, but in Japan, it's still a closet kind of thing, like how being a geek was in the 80s. That's why Yamai's comment was so "effective".
