we have to support legal distribution but i suggest you also check the episode in some fansubs or something cuz netflix didn't translate the important stuff like in the chalk board, so if you want more insight on Komi and her problems that should help

Honestly I’ve read the manga since it came out, the chalkboard would be nice to have translated, but it really isn’t relevant to the story or plot. It’s small conversations. Netflix did translate what is important, and they did a good job making it coherent for the English part, unlike some fansubs I’ve read of the scene.

the story(aka girl falls for guy friend and vice versa) is predictable but this manga proves just cause something is obvious a mile away does not mean its not worth telling or going through cause its still worthwhile because of how we get there and how it feels...execution is key not the actual beats

There's probably going to be a lot of pre and post credit scenes, because there's a lot of short chapters in each volume that gives funny quick breaks in between the main story arch's. This anime is blowing away my expectations, they're really hitting the comedy moments and sweet moments in the mark. If just feels like they care about the characters.

I found the manga by pure chance, and I've been hooked ever since. I encourage you to stick with this series, because it only gets better over time! It's easy for us introverts to relate to Komi. I don't have problems 1 on 1 but in groups I tend to clam up. I'm always the wallflower at parties and gatherings. So I have difficulty making connections and just stay away most of the time. Anyway, the manga is really cute so I think we'll be in for a good time.

Explanation of the Japanese name puns for the characters introduced by name so far: Tadano Hitohito is an average guy (tada no hito = "just a person") Komi Shouko can't communicate (komyushou = "communication disorder") Agari Himiko has stage fright (agari-shou = "stage fright", hikyou = "cowardice") I'm pretty sure some other characters' names were written out when the narrator was explaining what type of people go to this school, but Netflix didn't bother to translate that part...

One thing I really do love about this show is how it shows the misconceptions from the other perspective dealing with people that have social anxiety or any type of social disorder. I had issues where in high school people thought I was angry or hated them because I was awkward and just wasn’t very social. I honestly feel like this show will help people better understand this. Which is a great thing.

There was this girl I got assigned to for an assignment and afterwards we became really good friends. We knew of each other all through elementary but we hadn’t ever spoken to one another until 8th grade. Later that year she told me the reason she never spoke to be before was because she thought I was scary🤣, always sitting in the back of the room wearing black and never talking. I’m about as intimidating as a baby sloth, I don’t know what she was thinking. The lesson here is that first impressions are very often wrong.

I know you watch the official stuff but Netflix's translations are pretty bad when it comes to Komi-san. For some reason Netflix doesn't really subtitle text which is a big problem since Komi usually communicates with writing. A lot of stuff was missed out because they didn't translate a lot of the Black boards writing.

Born with aspergers, which is a sin in Mexico, so I was left alone always and developed that sh@t, which is even a major sin in Mexico because I was beated the whole time because of that. It would have been nice to have somebody that could, at least, understand that, but whatever. Can relate to an extent, but I couldn't communicate either writting LOL. Lot of practice and speaking everyday in front of a mirror until I could stop having sttutering... well, controlling it because if someone talk me by surprise, many times I still can't answer well, but at least the adult world is much more comprensive than the kids/teenager world. Still, in a country were being sociable is a norm, it's kind of a curse.
