It was an awesome feeling walking down the same street that Snake himself walked in the movie. There was a couple alley scenes that I also have found in downtown St.Louis . Of coarse the bridge has always been my favorite!!! It’s still there with a plaque on it about the movie.

You're right. That's why you alternate the ito. If a part of it comes cut, it won't unravel.

A lot of people like JKOO, but I haven't had good experiences with them. I've had two custom swords sent to me from JKOO, and they weren't cheap. The swords were both dull. On the one sword, the tsuba is loose, the habaki looks terrible and is misaligned, and they didn't give me the fittings that I ordered. On the other sword, the blade geometry and the bo-hi are messed up and misaligned towards the kissaki, it had scratches on the blade when I got it, and I had to put a shim in the mouth of the saya so the blade would stay in there. However, the ito wrap on both swords is awesome and tight, the polishing on both blades looks great and shows off the hamon, and the patina on the one tsuba I got looks really REALLY good. Also, they were kind enough to give me a discount and refund some of my money when I sent Van Yang an email about the problems I listed, so the customer service is good too.

If you can get a sword from Z-SEY, I would love to see you review one of their swords, but they're not cheap 😬 So, if you can't get one of their blades, then don't sweat it.

I have asked them for a sample,they said they would be in touch. Kinda leaning towards Sheng sword. They have a L6 that they claim cuts bone! I gotta try it!!!

I'm wondering what others think of Lyuesword. I have a custom one (T10) but haven't done any cutting with it yet. Some saya rattle but otherwise, the sword came out pretty nice and I'm happy with it. I'm planning on ordering a few in stock items from them in a week or so.
