If you would not include the stick inside, would the 'cutting part' of the blade remain flexible, or would it just end up breaking off? I'm trying to make a whip style sword, but I've never made a prop before so I'm at a bit of a loss haha. Maybe I should use a joga mat instead? Does anyone have any tips? Edit:I also considered slap bracelet material, but I doubt I'd be able to paint that properly, and it would not end up curved but fully straight or fully rolled up.
