Katana ZERO - Good, but not Great

I disagree with a lot here. -I think it's really bad you put the spoiler that you play as The Dragon. I highly recommend remaking your review without that spoiler -I find the UI is perfectly minimalist, not only just good. It's intuitive and the game does a perfect job giving just enough information for the player to proceed properly. -The aesthetics are a 10/10, much more than "nothing to write home about." This is the gold standard of pixel-graphic games. Every animation is gorgeous. I was constantly floored by how cool this style was. -The game was a memorable experience--much more impactful than any $10-15 Indie game I've ever played, despite the first playthrough being ~4 hours. -I'm glad you outlined how good the sound design is. The music in this game is absolutely incredible. -I enjoyed the freedom to use bullet time as desired. The game struck a perfect balance between linearity and player freedom.
