Great video and I completely agree! I think video games have a hard time of defining genres because of the interactive component they have that movies don't. I kind of disagree with your criticism of "moba" and "crpg" though. I know the term "multiplayer online battle arena" sounds really vague but when you hear the term "moba" you generally know what to expect. I think they are just terms used to replace "dota-like" and "baulder's gate-like".
