Katatonia - Lethean (Reaction)

Late to the party but just wanted to say that I've been seeing Katatonia since '06 and Lethean has become the closing song now. It used to be Evidence, then they sometimes would play Without God or Murder. Just saw them 11/19/22. Now that SVOS is out now if I were them I would close with Author. I digress, Lethean is easily in my top 10 Katatonia songs.

The One You Are Looking For Is Not Here, Hypnone, The Racing Heart, Leech, Ambitions (the studio version is pretty different from the acoustic you already did), First Prayer, Dead Letters, Second, The Parting...

I'm probably around your age. Came across this band about 15 years ago. They are my all time favorite band easily. Katatonia, Buckethead, Ghost Brigade, and a sprinkle of some other bands and i'm good to go. I subscribed.

In the end.. u got the point. "musical craftmanship" and lyrics (with that voice) is a combo that goes right into the heart and the soul. Jonas' lyricism is something rare.

This song has been my ring tone for years. I'd say they're probably my all time favorite band. Don't expect tons of views doing reactions to their songs but if you're doing this for the love of music, there's no better band. I've introduced this band to a lot of people and every one of them that truly loves music has really loved them. Their run of albums from Viva Emptiness to The Fall of Hearts to me is the best run of albums I've ever heard and it's not even close.

I'd like to see you react to their super classic stuff with the scream vox era For Funerals to Come, and then when they changed styles to the song "Saw You Drown". Then move onto the album Discouraged Ones. Keep in mind Jonas played drums on these albums. Love all their albums. Fan since the very beginning. Love what you're doing. Cheers.

Sophisticated music here. Something else you probably gonna love is ' Freedom Of Fear-the Abstract Venom' or 'Purgatorium'. Any song will do really. They aren't recognized yet as a good band, but that's just a matter of time.

This is a great song, not saying much since they are all amazing!. Would like to hear your thoughts on Wisdom of Crowds - Wisdom of Crowds. It's a mini side project by Jonas Renkse and Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief). It's A different style than Katatonia. Very unique and really good. Give them a listen, I think you'll appreciate it.
