One of the most melancolic track they've ever made....so far.My favorite of this album. I hope they will be track with such emotions in the new album. Because i'v listened to three songs at this day: buildings,lethean(the best of three in my opinion) and dead letters....and...i don't know,it's different.

i think "the longest year" is actually the BEST piece of music they ever created and that comes from a fan since the legendary "dance of december souls". typical unique katatonia atmosphere, mixed with much more dynamic songwriting and really great instrumentation! i listened to this song and this album for weeks until my girlfriend yelled at me. looking forward to katatonias august release!
