With their encounters since the break up, you can clearly see that whistler is an independent woman, who is used of being on her own and that shows how mature she is understanding Lucy's treatment towards her no matter how painful and sad she gets...too independent that she sucks at communicating and expressing her feelings especially with the unexpected love she felt for Lucy..

What r u talking about? Kate has been trying to have a conversation to work something out with her but Lucy is the one who backs away. Lucy is the one who needs time. And once that happens Kate can show how much she cares for Lucy. Yea this is all Kate’s fault that this happened in the first place but Lucy is the one backing away now not letting Kate get close. Lucy can’t even have a professional relationship with her as this scene shows. But it’s understandable with what Kate did. Lucy is hurt and just needs time. Kate doesn’t want to rush it. Just give it time.

@@may9155 Yea I gotcha but u gotta remember not everyone is that open about their feelings. She doesn’t want to force it cause Lucy still needs time. It’s also not that simple. Obviously they both still like each other but this stuff takes time. I think it’ll come next episode. Also Lucy hasn’t been given her much of a chance to do this cause Lucy is the one who backs away which is understandable. And if we’re talking about what we would do in this scenario if I were Lucy I would never forgive Kate. Even tho she didn’t realize she was cheating cause she thought she broke up with Kara (I think that was her name I can’t remember lol) I would still consider it cheating (even tho she more so cheated on Kara with Lucy). And to me cheating is unforgivable and I definitely don’t wanna be the one cheated on or the one involved in said cheating.

@@may9155 Kate does things in her own way - she’s been chasing Lucy for some time now literally embarrassing herself. Not everyone is expressive with their feelings/emotions so we cannot “yet” expect Kate to be all “I miss you”. I have been there in real life and I know how it feels.
