Just heard this for the first time in a French grocery store, on my first solo trip to Europe. I was alone in the basement of a monoprix and I started dancing and crying to the sweet music playing through the the crackly ceiling speaker. Nobody will understand the last few years of my head, or my body. We just have to push through. This sound is such a gift

I lost a close friend in August last year and then my best friend of nearly 10 years in November. By December I was so numb living in a bottle and couldn't even do the new year or my birthday that followed shortly after. The last couple of years as a whole have been rough but music has been holding my hand day by day. This song came up on the stream today and I fought back some tears I should've let out but I saved the track and am crying as I type this out right now and having read the lyrics. You're awesome, Kate. Thanks for sound-tracking this day RIP Jena and Liz ❤️🤍

This song makes me feel seen when I go through bouts of depression. Sometimes I’m feeling as lonely or low as can be and pressured to smile through the pain. This pressure to be lady-like and pleasant when you’re in deep pain. This song has helped me feel like things will be alright though

I usually don't watch music videos on the first listen of a song, but I'm so glad I did this time. I don't know who had the idea or how the editor did it, but it's somehow the absolute perfect accompaniment. This is a beautiful piece of art.

The first time I heard this was on a bus ride and it was night. It was around 2 am and Spotify just played this next. I really loved it at first listen and will forever link this song to that wonderful bus ride at 2 am and it was cold and I was trying to sleep but couldn't. Love you Kate!

Let me just tell you this song helped me sooo much when I was feeling anxious. I listen to new music everyday and then out of nowhere my ex friends texted me after I cut them off for my own good. They texted after months asking for an explanation, honestly their message made me feel anxious and worried. This song came on and helped me feel better. It sounds so nice and it’s comforting. Keep up the good work!
