I used to not care for this track as it sounds fairly uninteresting for a Kate Bush song, but after looking at the lyrics, I began to appreciate it. This is a lovely celebration of food, sexuality, femininity, and pleasure. I am particularly touched by her sentiments regarding male femininity: "Does he conceal What he really feels? He's a woman at heart And I love him for that Let's split him open Like a pomegranate Insides out All is revealed Not only women bleed" Kate's perspective on gender relations is always compassionate.
@paddynoble2 жыл бұрын
