Kate Hudson Reveals Relationship w/ Estranged Father Bill Hudson Is 'Warming Up'

Kate Hudson is revealing where she currently stands with her father. In an interview aired on April 28 with CBS Sunday Morning, the actress discussed her upcoming debut album, “Glorious,” and opened up about what her relationship is like with her estranged father, Bill Hudson. “I don’t really have one,” the 45-year-old songstress shared, then adding, “It’s warming up. There’s warming ups of this all happening. But it will be whatever it will be. I have no expectation of that with my father. I just want him to be happy.”

What matters is his relationship with his daughter and if he abandoned his kids unfortunately that’s what he gets for being an irresponsible man. You reap what you sow. But it’s never too late to try and fix things and have a relationship, if each person makes it a priority to make it better. Time flies by so fast it’s better to love now before it’s too late.

Bill Hudson's father walked out on his family with no warning when he was 6 years old. After splitting with Goldie, Bill married Cindy Williams and raised two children with her. Let's not make him out to be some kind of a monster. It was very common for divorced parents to completely sever all ties with each other back then. Their new spouses rarely wanted them to be seeing their old spouses. The children would go with one parent and that would be the end of it.

When Kate went to the media to seek mean and hateful messages when she sent that post out… happy abandonment day!!! I saw her real true colors behind her smiley face. I would hate my mother for not encouraging me to have a relationship with him, but only wanted him to have a relationship with her boyfriend. Some people have no heart. I am so sorry for her father so sorry. She’ll have to answer to that someday.

I saw right through her lies and deceit. If you manipulate your own children into feeling a certain way about their own father, that’s some seriously BAD AND EVIL BEHAVIOR from the mother and shows her extremely low character. Money/success doesn’t automatically make you a good person. Goldie Hawn was cheating on him with Kurt Russell and then manipulated the children against their father in order to make her own selfish relationship transition easier. That’s some extremely f***ed up behavior if I’ve ever seen it. Be better, ladies! FFS!

Her brother posted that, not Kate. It is sad & no one knows what happened unless they were there. Sometimes fathers abandon their children & there is nothing no one can do. One thing that holds true; he had legal rights & he could have seen his children if he really wanted to. I saw a short interview with him. It sounds like he has regrets. It is sad for all of them, but he was the adult in the situation. Ex-wives cannot force dads to see their children.
