Kate Martin is the only reason I would watch the Aces. Coach Bluder once said that she thought Kate would one day make a great coach. I believe that. I was only going to watch Indiana Fever games because of Clark, but now I will watch Kate play too. Never ever watched a women’s college or WNBA before Clarke’s 2023 NCAA performance. Became a forever CC fan, then loved the Iowa team, now watching CC in WNBA games.

Same here! Watched the 2023 NCAA's...fell in love with the Hawks, Czinano, Clark, Martin, Marshall, Warnock...then they came back in 2024 with Stuelke, Affolter, Davis. These women are not 5* recruits (except CC) but they have 5* heart.

ive been saying it everywhere i see her mentioned, Kate Martin was the absolute STEAL of the draft! she got slept on because of Clark's abilities but if you watch the game enough you see these players that just have that package. she's one of them, she's gonna be around for a while, especially on a team thats already loaded. wouldn't shock me to see her get her first ring before CC does.

The wnba might be finally waking up in many ways. There hasn't been a draft class like this in 20 years and it seems as though the League is finally ready to embrace the next gen of players instead of keeping rosters littered with poor shooting, poor passing middle-aged women. Athletes age like milk after a time. It's biology.
