It's funny that you say that. I grew up poor with no real roll models around. Day to Night Barbie helped me to fantasize of a world beyond what I was raised with. She also made me want to be a "career woman" when I grew up. And you know what? Despite all the odds, I went on to do so. Maybe what is wrong is your perception of a Barbie doll.
