I got to an age at which point playing with dolls among friends became awkward, and we used a few already damaged barbies to make our own Weird Barbie dolls. Pink car didn't go over so well with his alpha dad, so I can understand why some men may be sensitive about that even nowadays. But my cousin had ALL the Star Wars action figures, complete with the other toys like the planet Hoth play set, the Millennium Falcon, etc, etc, just like I had Barbie's dream house, and her pool, and so on. Same thing, right?

I know they're students, but can't they explain to people during the orientation 'puke outside on dirt/grass, or in a toilet, or if you're incredibly desperate the garbage, do NOT puke in a sink or bathtub!', they know they're going to drink stupidly because our society doesn't believe in educating people about how to manage alcohol use (until it's mostly too late). I did some old timey lumberjack workouts in our tiny forest, we had lots of dead white ash trees, so there was tons to do. This entire interview was incredibly awkward for me to watch when it first aired. Kate was apparently unwilling to talk much about her upcoming debut hosting gig. Practically every time Seth brought up anything related to it, she diverted the subject to some bizarre joke because she can never be serious and always has to be “on.” Was it because of the elephant in the room that was “SNL” receiving utter backlash for last weekend’s cold open? The whole point of Kate being interviewed was to promote “SNL.” I’m not sure if they even talked about the show for more than 15 seconds. Her giant water bottle and talk of living in the woods were definitely distractions and time-wasters.

Some Barbies have had elbow joints for more than a decade now. I had a few growing up and I’m 25 now. It’s typically reserved for the yoga teachers, gymnasts, and the pediatricians and such. If you watch her scenes in the Barbie Movie, you’ll see it makes perfect sense for them to have used it for this character.
