Kate Middleton 'furious' with Queen Camilla after curtsy snub

The Royal Family have been engulfed in drama recently, and now one royal biographer has claimed that it's not cooled down.
Rumours have been swirling of growing tensions between Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton, according to one royal biographer.
Speaking on Dan Wootton Tonight on Tuesday, author Tom Bower claimed that the Princess of Wales is 'angry' at the Queen due to the ceremony's guest list.
The royal expert also claimed that several individuals who helped change Camilla's image 'from mistress to Queen' were 'furious' that they weren't invited to the coronation, reports news.com

My understanding Queen Consort is any woman who is married to a King, designating as the wife, not the Monarch, but they all are titled Queen. I think this "storyline" originates from "commoners". Perhaps, if there were no curtsies specifically for her, it is because she is not a Monarch, she is the wife of one and usually carries the title, "Queen", as it has through the ages.

Re Th Curtsy - I’m sure I read somewhere that if bowing/curtsying to The Monarch, you only had to do it once each day - the first time you met that day. So, chances are they’d already met earlier in the day

I wasn’t having a go at you. I’m not sure. If they have a few functions in a day do they curtesy each time, I would think if it in public they probably should for appearances sake. My friend met the queen officially when the queen came to Australia. She was told when first being introduced. They met again later that same event but did dent have to. I just think so soon after crowning anyone should show respect for the top position. Camilla now is the top ranking royal woman. Catherine and Meghan are on the same level unless they are accompanied by husbands. If Meghan had dared to not do this she would have been sent off to the tower by social media. Two things come to mind. One was Camilla’s attitude toward Charlotte outside the church, when someone pinched Charlotte & she cried. Camilla told Catherine to”get her out of here” very rudely. My fav, however is P Anne reminding Camilla that she’s not Queen, but Queen Consort at the diner on the evening before the coronation. If you’d like to see Catherine with a full head of steam, go back to the Trouping the Colors when h & m pitched a fit over which people were placed in their chairs & which walked in with the Queen. I watched the tape at the exit of the K & Q over & over& either Catherine didn’t curtesy to Camilla, had possibly seen her earlier in the day, or due to the positions of the K & Q no one could have the time to bow twice. Food for thought.

BUT Diana could NEVER have been Queen because the last thing we knew about her, before she tragically died, was that she was probably going to marry Dodi. She would have been living a good life if this had happened and would probably have been glad that Charles was going to be a happy father for William and Harry to be around. Once Diana had decided to go, it looked as if she never looked back on Charles in a romantic way - only wishing him to be a good dad for their boys. I dont think Catherine had any problems cause her relatives didnt make the guest list. I think the Wales had a problem with how Camilla agreed to the Queen title and didnt pressure to remain as Queen Consort. Also bringing 20 Parker Bowles made the ocassion about herself when it was supposed to be about the King. Queen Camilla is already a very different Queen than Elizabeth and that concerns to the future King now Prince of Wales.

As for titles, they are assigned, individuals don't have much say in the matter. Succession plans including titles are according to protocol not pulled out of a hat. You get what you get.

There were only 2,000 invites and it wasn’t Kate’s Coronation. She will be able to invite as many as she likes when William is crowned King. Also, it wasn’t a family ‘do’ so, as only a daughter-in-law of KC, Kate’s parents and her sister and brother were all lucky to have been invited. Camilla was quite entitled to have her family there. One doesn't have to be a Royalist to be a Loyalist. I have never really been bothered by Charles and Camilla. To my mind he was entitled to choose who he wanted as a partner. In fairness, I had never been much of a fan of Diana anyway. It was my understanding that our recently deceased Queen had declared that Camilla should be called 'Queen Consort' and I think that it was a mistake to change this. Charles should not have over-ruled this decision. I was surprised, however, by my own disquiet when I saw Camilla on the balcony in full robes, and with a bigger crown on her head than Charles. I think this was wholly against the wishes of her late Majesty, and did a disservice to the reputation of the Crown.

Tom Bower is just stirring the pot. It is very obvious that Catherine, the Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla have a wonderful relationship. Every time we see them together, they are laughing AND we have seen Catherine curtsy to her many times as well as kiss Camilla on the cheeks. The Queen was featured in a magazine during this last year, and guess who she picked to do the photography for the shoot? The Princess of Wales, that's who. I am so tied of the media trying to sprout turmoil where there is none just so they can go on camera and talk. Just stop. It's a non issue. Just in case Tom doesn't know royal protocol (which he SHOULD), the royal family curtsies to the Queen the first time they see her and the rest of the day, they do not. The same with the King. Did it every occur to Tom and maybe, just maybe the Queen told Catherine that she needn't curtsy to her on the day? Whatever, there is no evidence of a "feud" between the two women.
