Absolutely loved your set at Sark Folk Festival Kate and band! You literally played every single one of my favourite of your songs! The Lark in particular is one of my favourites as it makes me think of my daughter who turned 16 recently and doesn’t really need her Mum as much as she used to ❤️. She was playing herself at the festival for the first time and was thrilled to feature below you on the program because you have the initial ‘K’ in common! She too is a fan! It couldn’t have been more perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this video promoting our beautiful Islands. It’s easy to take for granted how lucky we are. It was so lovely to get to meet you. I was a bit star struck! 😃 So glad that you all had a wonderful experience! Hope u will return to play to us again! 😀 x

Ooooo, I like the look of that.I might pack my Chihuahua and run away to an island! I was in a folk band many moons ago and once we sang Wild Mountain Thyme in a talent contest . We came second to a yodler. I think it was a fix....Happy Festival all! 🙋💖

Kate perfectly understands what Folk (music) is really about. It's about taking the kids out on a trip to a far off island, it's about being thrilled by the daily things in life. In a way that's the definition of Pop Art. I absolutely adore her casual style notwithstanding being an Art Icon herself. She deserves a knighthood for her nice personality. I wonder if she also keeps 2 slices of bread with marmalade in her rucksack ("For Later").

Harsh. An incredibly talented young woman is playing a festival with her band, surrounded by her family, in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I think you're mistaking 'I'm mad, me...' for simple enthusiasm and joy of life.

...banning motor vehicles seems a great idea and we'd all be a lot healthier - until our ankles got bashed by them daft little scooters ! An official should've fitted a little yellow triangular clamp to it ...in the airport lounge !
