Official music video for the single "Hounds of Love" -- which is the title track of the Hounds of Love album by Kate Bush. It was also the third of the album's four singles. The single was released on 24 February 1986, and reached number 18 in the UK Singles Chart.
The music video was directed by Kate Bush herself.
The versions worldwide differ slightly: the US single mix included an additional chorus just after the second chorus.

I really really love this video. It feels almost like a revelatory dream where she's being chased by big scary men representing the intimidating aspects of emotional and sexual maturity. And then at some point things get lucid and don't feel entirely right, and she confronts and embraces it. It resonates with me a lot, because I had a similar dream before I was really comfortable with myself for the same reasons (albeit coming to terms with being gay). So.. I discovered this wonderful woman a bit later in life. A friend suggested her to me & I bought "Hounds Of Love" on cd. This was about 4 years ago. I had heard of Kate but had no idea just how amazing, creative, lovely & iconic this woman was & I'm forever grateful to her (and my friend haha)

I feel so lucky that this was the era of music I grew up in. The music today doesn't hold a candle to artists from the 80s. There isn't a woman artist today who comes close to Kate Bush.
