The lime really does work Kim. I use it inside my barns and outside where there is high traffic. In order for it to keep it from being muddy outside during rainy seasons we have to have about 2-3” thick of lime in our muddy areas. When it gets wet it turns hard so you don’t sink in it. And yes you can call a gravel pit and have someone deliver a truck load of time. A half tri-axle load here in Indiana only coast $25.00…$45.00 for a full tri-axle load. It’s super cheap buying it in truck loads. BTW…lime keeps the barn smells down too! BONUS…especially with goats! 🥰

Hi & Good morning Kim - I love the signs you got - I have one of those pumps like yours - I have a very large plastic container that i put water in for in my van when i'm camping - I can't carry it, so it's on the floor of the van - I bought the pump to put in the mouth of the c ontainer and it acts like a water tap so i can fill a kettle, etc. - those pumps come in very handy for so many things - excellent purchase

Hi Kim if you do decide to get something delivered whether it be lime, sand, asphalt. You might ask LE if you can use the mini tractor. That way you don't have to wait on Dan or somebody to help you spread it... Also if you want concrete in that area you can always do a dry pour. All it requires is that you build your form and then you pour the concrete out dry and then you wet it with a soft sprinkler. Lots of homesteaders do it and you can find videos on KZbin showing how to do it...✌️And Blessings

Every slab I have ever done has been a dry pour. It would take a lot of bags and at 80 pounds each I'm not sure if I can handle it lol probably sand and then some kind of stone on top is what I will eventually do

I am about 100 miles south of you. I used a load of mulch about 5" deep to help keep mud down in my yard. It was the cheapest way I found.

That’s an awesome tool for the gas! I want to get that for my husband. Just today I was outside washing my a/c filters but I was inhaling gas. I knew my husband must’ve spilled gas on the driveway because he just got done mowing the yard. What’s the brand and name of that thing? Thanks for sharing! The signs are nice. Hey Kim ❤ ☕️ Good afternoon! Hey Levi! ❤ Oh, I love Katee's sign, and the feed room one! 😍 Well, hi Miss Molly! I saw her for a second! 😂❤ I'm gonna have to look into one of those transfer pumps. We finally got a generator this hurricane season, but I can't lift the 5 gallon cans anymore, so that would be a big help. Especially if my husband and son aren't home. We might get snow and/or ice in northern Florida, too, and I want to be able to use the generator if we lose power. We have an old and drafty mobile home, so we need to keep the main room heated, the fridge and freezer going, and my bipap machine when I sleep. 🙏🏻 I'm definitely going to look into the lime for our goats and chickens areas. I plan to move pastures for the goats and will need to have a lot tilled into the ground where they've been anyway, as I plan to let it all heal and then have a garden and I want to use that pole barn to screen in for BBQ and picnic table and storage room on one side for my gardening stuff. Norma here Love Katee Bug’s sign. The feed room, goat area and Katee’s area looks great and was a wonderful idea. Hope you can solve the lime issue. Does it soak into the dirt and mud? I’m guessing it’s safe for the animals to walk on since so many people suggested using it. Your pump works well and makes a great gift.

You can get bulk lime Kim. Some people spread it in agricultural processes. It’s really good for pecan trees and pecan orchards.
