Years ago, I was joking around with Paul on Twitter, because, despite HIM being the big scifi nerd, his Kim Convenience costar Jean Yoon was on The Expanse... and then he goes and joins the Star Wars universe - the ultimate goal in scifi nerdom! And it's just amazing to hear that they sought him out for the role! I couldn't be happier for him, and I hope we see Carson in lots of shows going forward. :)

I love Paul! I am so glad that he was able to stop by. ❤ When I saw him as Uncle Iroh, I just started clapping as soon as I first saw him appear in that Avatar movie. Uncle Iroh is such a beautiful soul, and to see him portrayed by Paul was perfection. ❤❤

Katee your role was a golden ticket too...iv seen snippets of the discussions about taking on the role in live action because you got the original role on Clone wars as Bo-Katan in 2010/2011 then years later your also out live action butt kicking mandalorian queen...worked out amazing ❤❤

I'm thinking of Star Wars characters who are pilots, and ONLY pilots. Wedge Antilles, Poe Damarin, and Carson Tavo are about it. I know there are others, but they tend to be multi-role characters like Hera Syndula. Hera is also a rebel cell leader and a smuggler archetype, in addition to being Rebel/New Republic fighter pilots.
