Given what he's accomplished, having him share his thoughts in such a frank way, is a great historical contribution. It's significant to have him speaking for himself and to not have some future biographer distort who he was, or what he thought.
@Citruss_XIII10 ай бұрын
Accomplished? He's hoarding more wealth that you can even comprehend. Do you know how much a single billion is? You could make $10,000 a day for 10,000 years and still not have as much money. No let that sink in before you start arguing in your mind or worse, justifying it. Capitalism is broken. People are playing this game and exploiting the shit out of it, along with the governments blessing. Don't turn around and blame immigrants for jobs when I'm sure Bezos makes more in an hour than all of the immigrants in America combined. He does not need that money. It is immoral to hoard that much. If the richest 1% donated just 10% of their money-- something they would never notice- they could change the shape of the country and the world. They didn't "earn" all of that money, it's not proportional to their inputs or contributions.

The most eye opening part for me was 1:50:40 when Jeff was explaining how AI isn't even close to the humans, because human brains use only about 20 watts of power and need very little data to succeed. AI currently uses multiple kilowatts of power and needs billions of parameters to "learn" and "generate" a result. Never heard it that way before.

Yes, thank you Lex for lengthening our attention span. And also for being such a kind human being, connecting things together, different people, different opinions and back histories, serving as a platform for a genuine exchange of ideas.

His overall vision is better than Musk's. Musk is more about great achievements, and Bezos is more about building the things that make it easier to do big things - which doesn't necessarily lead to you seeming like as big of a deal yourself. Of course, both approaches are worth doing... Would be cooler if they worked together more.

This was so much better than I had anticipated. I found myself judging Jeff based solely on the fact that he was a billionaire that happened to create AMAZON. Hearing about his grandfather and the farm gave him a humanity that I don’t think I would have ever seen otherwise. Lex you are genuinely amazing at interviewing in a way that is conversational but doesn’t dominate the conversation. You have such a polite and funny way of easing your guests in. At the end of the day, It’s really about what you have created for the next generation. Truly inspiring and humbling. Ty lex 😊and Jeff B.

This is why you shouldn't judge anyone. I already knew both Elon and Jeff are good people

@The_Mystical_Man That's the power of LF JB: That's an inventor's greatest dream is that their inventions are so successful that they are one day taken for granted. No one thinks of Amazon as an invention, no one thinks of customer reviews. We pioneered customer reviews but now they are so commonplace, same thing with one click shopping and so on, but that's a compliment. You invent something … that is so beneficially used by so many people people that they take it for granted. Lex: I don't know about nobody, every time I use Amazon I'm still amazed, how does this work? The logistics… JB: [laughs] That proves that you're a very curious exploder… LF: Alright, alright, back to rockets…

He got this interview first of all because Bezos approved the questions first....no negative or criticism questions at all. That `s how Benzos want it. Then of course Lex is a very good host !
