The import preset will be a great new tool on my LR bag o trix! I used to import, make the basic edits all shots need, then synch'ing across all the files. I'm hoping it will save time to use the import preset to achieve the "edits across the board" rather than the synch method. Always a pleasure to learn from Kaitlyn!!

Also having the back drop black rather then white, it helps better to see the colors, shadows exposures and such.

Thank you so much! great tips! I have a question for you. Are you using Lightroom from the creative cloud? That's the one I am using, but I have a friend that is using an old version Lightroom, Lightroom 6, I notice that the tools for retouching face skin are so much powerful on that lightroom that in the lightroom I am using, I can see a huge difference (he doesn't have soft skin light per instance, only soft skin) but he can do a much better retouch than me, why is that? we have done an exercise retouching the same photo online sharing the screen, and I don't understand what happened... Thanks in advance! By the way, I am going to take your online class!

There are 2 versions of Lightroom in the creative cloud bundle. One is desktop based and one is more cloud based. Try downloading Lightroom Classic in your Adobe account. It’s not the “old” version, but rather a full version vs abbreviated for on the go. I think you will notice a huge difference.
