I sent this to my Grandma while she was by my Grandpa’s bedside before he passed just about a week ago. They were just a few days away from their 60 year anniversary. Thank you for this beautiful song which comforted her in these hard times!

Wow! I wish I had got the chance to hear you here in Lexington. The words to this song are so perfect. They seem to fit my journey of grief, I drowned for a while...before my knees hit the ground. Keep singing and recording, you two are awesome! But, keep it real - stay away from the added enhancements and audo-tune the industry pushes these days.

I have to know - are the blues in the beginning filtered, or was it shot later? Love how it goes from blues to warm colors as we watch Longer!! Dramatic impact.

Great question! I have some iPhone shots that showed the progression of the sunset, and they match the progression of colors in the video...it was like that in person, as the sun was setting. Lots of cotton candy skies here in Tennessee, but the view up there was spectacular. Felt like a different planet.
