Many thanks for the English translation. In my understanding it is very important to fully understand the words in your own language so that you can give your self into the vibration of the original mantras. Please use the Pali text and speak them that way, the sound vibrations from the mantras in the original language matter so much. But one must also know what one is saying. The Mantra originates from Sanskrit, then Pali, and Thai monks invokes the Leklai using traditional language of Mantra. The Vandana means paying homage to the Triple Gems. This is a loose translation of Katha Bucha after Vandana: "I pay reverence to the guardian of the Sacred Element of Lek Lai that wieldsgreat power." "Lek Lai, please grow and prosper,prosper greatly, cultivate good things and let them flow towards me." When chanting, we'll still use original Katha Bucha Leklai. Cheers~

Hi. DO NOT offer alcohol such as liquor or wine. NEVER offer alcohol because Leklai is considered sacred Buddhist relics, it is different from Prai, Phra Ngang & Spirit amulets, so Leklai must be kept away from them. You may offer fresh water more than honey. If fruit or honey they must be fresh and removed regularly before stale. Thanks~

Hi. Also mentioned in description, you may offer fresh drinking water, fresh jasmine flowers, sandalwood incense works good, basically similar offering of what one would provide to Buddha & Bodhisattva is good. Certain Leklai can have pure, fresh milk or honey. Important thing is the heart should be sincere and respectful, once you tune your mind to Leklai and the Dharma you will know what is good and best. Take note Leklai is NOT SIMILAR to Phrai, Leklai is not under same category as Kumantong, Khun Paeng or Phrai amulets. Cheers~

From our understanding of the cases we come across normally, this seems normal, in fact it does not lose it's shiny, it only lost its blue-ish colors, this is because the Leklai comes from very cool environment and when in warmer climate the blue-ish color disappears. Also glass Leklai Kaew will not lose color because glass crystal is more inert, usually only the metal Leklai loses the blue-ish tone in warmer conditions. Cheers~

Truth be told, Leklai comes forth from the Yang inside the Yin. meaning it is an explosion of energy, in a place where there is coolness and minimal energy. Traditionally people expose it to full moon light to empower it. We recommend Leklai put on an Altar above the waist level when not carried.
