Katharevousa (Ancient-ish Modern Greek) - Adamantios Korais

From the Salpisma Polemisterion of Adamantios Korais, written in Katharevousa in 1801. Katharevousa is a literary form of Modern Greek that should be relatively intelligible to most students of Ancient Greek.

@brennanmaynard4237 honestly not gonna lie, I think greek with an American accent sounds sorta majestic to me. I dont know how to explain it, but it kinda sounds more powerful in a way than normal modern greek

@brennanmaynard4237 sorry for taking so long. I was kinda at work so I didn't have time to respond unfortunately😅 as for you reply, I wasn't saying greek is bad. If that were the case than I wouldn't be trying to learn it through this video . All languages have influences through other. It's why we have french or German today but having a language take characteristic from other language isn't anything bad As long as the language retain majoritie of its characteristic through the language . It is why I suggested that MODERN greek with an English accent would be interesting. Because I feel It would sound more grande Nothing more.As for the Chinese sounding russian thing, im not saying they should. I'm just saying it sounds nice. Sorry if I offended you in any fasion. That was not my intention.
