Chris J.P. Black they were deciding who to leave Theo to if they both died. Many parents have a will that says who gets the kids if they’re dead. If just one of them died the other parent would raise Theo but if they both died there needs to be a plan in place. They had John and Delilah as the ones who would get him but John is dead and Delilah slept with Eddie so they had to find someone else.

Chris J.P. Black I guess, I don’t really know. I haven’t watched since the first episode of season 2. I really couldn’t stand that there were no consequences for Delilah and Eddie. She even went so far as to say she was going to name her unborn baby Jon if it had been a boy. She was going to name the human embodiment of her and Eddie’s betrayal after the person they betrayed. I haven’t been able to stand Delilah since the episode after Catherine finds out about the affair when Delilah purposely invited Catherine in for pizza in front of Theo knowing she couldn’t say no. Forcing the woman who’s husband she fucked to stand in her kitchen and fake that her world hadn’t just been shattered was beyond disgusting.

Chris J.P. Black I think he meant the friend group as a whole, for all of them to love each other. Not for his best friend, who he helped become sober, to betray him by fucking his wife. They were even planning on destroying both their families by leaving their spouses for each other the day John killed himself.

Carly Edwards right! She hasn’t done anything wrong and her husband is trash that she needs to get rid of, they can still co-parent but she needs to move on.

@@tracim3080 While I don't condone what Eddie did I understand why he did it. Even Katherine accepts that she had a hand in pushing him away, she didn't show him respect, didn't believe in him to the point where he felt invisible. Same thing with Jon and Delilah. Just my opinion.

Angus fraser-brown if he felt that way it was on him to be an adult and talk to his wife, not spend over a year sleeping with a family friend and planning on running away with the other women before ever telling her he was even unhappy in the marriage. Running away and not communicating is the child’s reaction and as a father he should have held himself to a higher standard of behaviour.

​@@tracim3080 She sacrificed her personal life for her work, granted it was to support her family but that doesn't excuse how she treated him. On the other hand he is an adult and he should have approached her with his feelings about what was going on but she wasn't exactly open to that (from what we've seen). I understand what you are saying though. They had a breakdown in communication and it became a toxic relationship. Would you have been able to approach someone who treated you like that, especially a significant other? I probably wouldn't be able to.

Angus fraser-brown if you can’t talk to the person your with about the important things then you shouldn’t be with them. You’re either a team or your not but that’s really not the point tho. The main point is Eddie basically considered his marriage over and didn’t bother to let his wife know, he just moved on and actually planned a future with someone else that’s not making a mistake that is making a series of choices about your families lives without including them in decisions it’s selfish and kind of cruel to make huge decisions about others lives like that. If he had a meaningless affair or a one night stand with a stranger then yes he could call it a mistake or blame not getting enough attention at home but that’s not what this was.
