I love the idea of being environmentally kind leading to ideas and possibilities. I've done a similar method for a while now with leftover acrylics on cereal boxes. Kathleen is a good and inspiring teacher.

I have always been very reluctant to cover bad watercolors with gesso because I really dislike going back in and painting on top of (what I consider is) the ultra-chalky feel of the gesso. But the addition of medium in your gesso juice formula should definitely offset this! Such a good idea - thank you!

Thank you for pointing out that we need to think about how we handle our wet acrylics. There are better options than wasting water to clean excess acrylics.
