We would queue for hours to see the two following releases, each time leaving us completely mesmerized. I still have the Star Wars action figures that I bought with my birthday money as a kid. The notion that Star Wars is male-dominated baffles me; it was once a family affair. The original trilogy was unmatched. The current state of Star Wars? To me, it's a far cry from the enchantment that once characterized it. It's an absolute dumpster fire.
