Did you guys even read the blog post? (You didn‘t in the video for one). I mean for real, I read it and he never blames facism for the delay of Winds. He mentiones facism and the erruption of several wars over the past few years and into 2024, branding it as „not […] a good year for anyone“, never connecting it to Winds, while the entire rest of the blog post is about PERSONAL struggles, not politics, not geopolitics, aka more understandable (and less politicized and rage-bait-y) reasons for the delay. Don‘t get me wrong, I am also frustrated with the constant delays but that is no excuse to lie about someone all the while spewing obscenities at said person (or sharing and condoning posts which do, as done in the video). Seriously, some of you guys seem to haven‘t even read ASOIAF (Drinker at one point makes a remark which makes it seem as such) and thus can‘t attest to it‘s sheer complexity and scope but what baffles me the most is that Nerdrotic at least has read them and he still devolves to this „socialis boomer“ bs, instead of some of the real reasons, being personal struggles, the story‘s complexity, his numerous other projects, etc...
