How has multi millionaire Rowling been cancelled? Her books still for sale. Shes had her Non-Potter generic detective stuff adapted by the BBC. She hasn't been cancelled at all. I can tell you this tho, I work in a 2nd hand book shop, and her stuff comes in so much we have a special box for them where they get sent for recycling, everyone who brings her books in agrees she's overrated and technically not that a great a writer, so she isn't cancelled, just the market is saturated with Potter and has been for a while now. I'd rather attack her though, for her class issues. Potter is rife with clichés about boarding school and for me, as a comprehensive kid, totally unrelatble depictions of the children. Anyway, I digress, she hasn't been canceled. She's been disagreed with , often by people who were her fans and feel let down because of some of the people she's promoting and supporting, some of them use very unpleasant language and have quite dark views.

I only found out about Roisin Murphy and her interesting and original music because of this. Impressive, but hard work and at times even unpleasant to listen to. LOL Much like the BBC itself. It's sickening that she felt she had to apologise, but she won't get anywhere by giving in to these intolerant people.

There was a woman I spoke, and puberty blockers were forced on her as a kid because, as I did, she began sexually developing very young... and apparently her internal organs did not develop properly, and she even had problems breathing.

Just because someone is offended by what you say does not mean they are right and you are wrong. Róisín Murphy just like JK Rowling has simply expressed her opinion on a controversial subject which- in a free and democratic society- she should be entitled to do without any form of retribution. Like both of these women, the silent majority no doubt share the same beliefs. The BBC used to be a bastion of fair, balanced and representative broadcasting, so why are they now subject to woke pressure instead of letting the public make their own judgement. I can't say I know any Róisín Murphy song but I'm tempted to buy her music just out of sheer support of what she has done.
