I am so happy to see you doing videos in Spanish now. I remember back in the day (been here for a minute, girl) when you used to say you wouldn't because of how insecure you are of your Spanish. I totally get that because I'm third gen, and by 18, I had lost my Spanish because so many people are afraid to speak it anymore for one reason or another. Plus, my family really wanted to blend in and be "American." I'm so sad for my Spanish. I hope I'll get it back one day. Hearing it always makes me feel at home, even though yours is different from mine (Mexican). Thank you for doing these despite your insecurity! It's hard to be Hispanic and American sometimes.

I love how everyone has a different translation depending on where they are from. Academic Spanish is pretty limiting in the US - there is an abundance of regional phrases and styles of labeling things that you'll just never hear except from a native speaker. 😊
