Watching this after Kathy relived this in tonights episode... 30 years later

Stole my thunder as I was just about to write something along these lines. This was properly synced by EE and it's just bewildering to see this relived after almost 30 years. Kathy exposed this on Monday as this being premeditated by JWB.

John Oddy seeing this makes the whole 2017-corporate takeover-arc incredibly pathetic.

I like that they depicted of rape in a believable way. It was by someone she knows, under very normal circumstances not during a kidnapping or in a dark alley & she wasn't nearly killed or had a knife to her throat. This is true to life & someone doesn't have to have their life threatened for rape to be highly traumatic.

EastEnders got most things right back then-unlike the extremely late 90s and from then after-bleurgh!
@kyachdistent13012 жыл бұрын
@flex rodriguez Thank you. It's a tragedy when things that begin so well get utterly destroyed in the decades that follow. EE truly ended around 2002/3 ane even then it was already struggling badly. Aside from anything else, the show got through too many characters too quick, always been their problem. No slow-burn for anything that matters.

I turned 21 the week before EastEnders started, February 1985. I was 24 when this aired in July 1988, so remember it clearly. Now I'm 54, blimey! 😱 Happy days. ☺

My dad was born on 5th February 1964, Eastenders started on 19th February 1985, meaning that he was 21 years and 14 days old. I was born on 10th June 1999, and this comment was sent on 24th June 2020, meaning that on this day I am now 21 years and 14 days old... ILLUMINATE CONFIRMED!!! 🔽 🔽🔽

Simon Wicks, Pat's son and David's half brother, cheated on Sharon and Cindy? Bio father of Steven, Cindy and Ian's son. Ian, David's other half brother was a prat who looked down on people but at least saw Steven as his son. Kathy was so nice that guy took advantage, he was evil and came back later still evil. She didn't want to go upstairs with him. Pat later said she knew the guy was after Kathy. Maybe her and Pete would have lasted if not for him. When she was with Phil later he went to find him to get revenge and Sharon convinced Grant they shouldn't sell to him after what he did
@kyachdistent13016 жыл бұрын
So now Wicksy and Memet are friends. How different to a few months ago when he tried warning him off his mum Pat and the guy shoved him up against the wall of the Vic outside. Very 80s old daft bloke line: "Kathy, he doesn't have your looks". Course he does, Wicksy's as hot as she is! It's just he's not open to that.

Kathy was either dim, or more likely, trying to please her boss. A lot of women wouldn't have gone upstairs. Wilmott-Brown was about as subtle as being hit by a brick.
