One of his most beautiful songs. I haven't heard this song for well over 40 years, but parts of it have never left my memory. Finally, today, I decided to look the damn thing up, wasn't sure of the title (but close) and finally heard it. Took me right back to jr. high, and the poignant despair I felt when hearing this master's lyrics. I don't think there's ever been a songwriter like Paul Simon. Glad I was alive to hear him.

In their concert in Central Park (?) Art tLks about this song, that when they were 22, they lived in London and played in the streets for change. Kathy was a friend that collected the money in a sailor cap. She was 'pretty'. Art dedicated this song to his wife Kathy at this concert.
