A-ha have a lot of amazing songs, but for some reason I always come back to this being my favorite from the band. The video is very period, with the motorbikes, the hair and the leather jackets. I am transported right back to my youth when I see it. Maybe that's why I love it so much? It must also be mentioned that Morten is also a beautiful soul on the inside. He treats his fans with the utmost respect despite the fact that it has been a huge burden for him to handle the admiration of fans for almost 40 years. There are countless films on KZbin, which fans have posted from the meeting with him. He pays attention to everyone, and if he sees that there is someone who does not dare to come forward to take a picture, he invites them. I have great respect for the patience he shows, and over the years he has understood that he sings himself right into people's hearts. He says it's "a different kind of love". I'm from Norway myself, and may run into him randomly one day - but if that were to happen, I'd probably find another way to avoid meeting him. I only want the best for him, and the best thing is not another person joining the queue.

I was blown away how utterly different and moving it was. Have returned to checking out all their newer stuff ever since.

I admit I've only heard one or two songs by A-ha and that seems to be the way when a band from a different generation has a number of songs that have forever entered popular culture. If you three ladies want to hear a truly special live performance I strongly recommend ‘Eivør - Falling Free (Live from the Old Theatre in Torshavn)’. Eivør is from the Faroe Islands (about half way between Iceland and Scotland) and she did all the background singing and tribal vocalisations on the Netflix Viking drama series ‘The Last Kingdom’.

The vocals on the song is absolutely amazing. A very difficult song to sing - and Morten kills it. A-ha is an amazing band - if you like hair - you should see him in his long-hair phase 😉. Ah-ha recorded the soundtrack to the James Bond movie "The living daylights" they had a track with that title which features scenes from the bond film, which had Timothy Dalton in the lead role. I am sure that the suave Timothy Dalton Bond and all the clips from the movie will make the video interesting. Keep up the reviews I love them.

The live version of SHADOWSIDE (by A-ha), recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in 2008 (in HD), is another one definitely worth checking out - it features on a channel called Chrisf300uk. Although the camera work in places is a little shaky, the overall sound is very good.
