This one will always be my favorite song by them. Great reaction ladies :)

This performance of Coldplay doing "Politik" is from Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, Madrid, Spain on October 26th, 2011, which was the American Express Unstaged concert. The song "Politik" originally appears on Coldplay's 2002 album "A Rush of Blood to the Head" and was composed/written by all 4 members of Coldplay: Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland & Will Champion. Chris Martin - lead vocals, keyboards, piano, rhythm guitar Guy Berryman - bass, backing vocals, keyboards, synthesizers, percussion Jonny Buckland - lead guitar, backing vocals, keyboards Will Champion - drums, backing vocals, keyboards, piano, percussion

Written on 9/11 and recorded 9/13. One reason why it’s spelled Politik is because politicians can be sneaky and tricky. The song is supposed to sound loud and chaotic, until the end when, like most of their songs, love is seen as an answer. He forgot the words at one point which is why he made a face and laughed a bit. All three took that pause to stretch out as this is not typically how they play. Will looks like he’s going to destroy the drums the entire song. Unfortunately this song is often only played in Europe during concerts. It was played in NY during an awards show with a full orchestra. I’m sorry, I should’ve put a warning about strobe lights.

Guy Berryman actually messed up his bass part by moving up way past the next note ( which can be heard clearly at 3:08) which is actually why Chris laughed, and then Guy laughed because his mistake was noticed by Chris. Chris often messes up lyrics and they still continue without laugher so that wouldn't be it.

I was a rock / indie oriented person, who got into Colplay early on and this has always been one of my favourite songs of theirs. Full of deep and dark lyrics, great vocals, rhythmn great chord / mood change towards the end. It's a very clever song (listen to the album version too, which i prefer!).

Rebecca did up her game with this one 🎉 however, just an advice, a Coldplay song has to be listened to without a pause, you kinda miss the transitions, this song and fix you are prime examples

I would love to see you guys react to "Moses" and/or "One I Love", live in Sydney from Coldplay:) Both of them are very unknown songs and are highly underrated.

Rebecca is ON it! I’m a big Coldplay fan myself and I’ve watched a lot of your guys’ videos here recently as of the other day just going down the list of Coldplay reactions. When Rebecca recommends a song and I see the live performance I just go “ohhh man, she picked the good one” 😂. If you guys have the chance to go see Coldplay though, I’d HIGHLY recommend it. I went in Seattle this past September ’23 and I’m going again in New Zealand this November and it’s just a sight to behold. Whether you’re on the floor or in the very last row, it’s all an amazing sight. Love your reactions!😄 #NewSubscriber

Can you react to Coldplay - Charlie brown live version? (Not the madrid one) It is the song that started the light bracelet trend at concerts. Its a very upbeat song people jump to at concerts

5:03 good ol Jonny Buckland, very under appreciated guitarist in the music world. In fact I think all Coldplay members not named Chris Martin are under appreciated lol.

Here you got a taste of Coldplay's first two albums which for diehard fans are their best; they say afterwards Coldplay have gone down the mainstream pop drain. I personally disagree, every album musically has its own merits. I keep recommending to watch their original music videos, such as you did with Adventure of a Lifetime. They really are one of a kind and very inventive for the time they were first published.

BOOOO BOOOOO Lame song by a lame band. Maybe do a Royal Republic song or Greta VannFleet for newer stuff. Get Van Halen in rotation that will help us all feel better.
