YES, great reaction. Volbeat is a great band from Denmark. The lead singer Michael Poulson is great, his voice has a mix between Elvis and Johnny Cash, even tho he used to be in a death metal band. I recommend Sad Mans Tongue, Still Counting, Black Rose and The Devils Bleeding Crown. Can't go wrong with any Volbeat song.

Love Volbeat, only found them last year, "Die to Live", "Lola Montez" and they do an incredible cover of Dusty Springfield's "I only want to be with you"

As someone wrote here, Volbeat is one of the best rock bands today, I myself have been to them 3 times here in Sweden and they are the best concerts I have been to. The singer has a great source of inspiration from Elvis Presley first of all two tattoos with him a picture of Elvis and then his name on the arm and Jr Casch on the chest but also fat's domino and Little Richard, Ramones, Metallica, Misfits, Death Palm, Slayer. That's why I love Volbeat, they can do everything, almost so it sounds like 50s/60s to punk and to hard rock. You should listen to some more. Vol beat Dead but rising (about Elvis and the singer's father) Wait a minute my girl soulweeper Doc Holliday please come in and take a look

One other major influence of Volbeat, according to Paulson, that people rarely mention is Social Distortion. In fact, if Social Distortion was a metal band, it would probably sound a lot like Volbeat (in my opinion of course) . They have the American tough guy thing going on if you're not familiar.

Volbeat -"16 dollars" & "pelvis on fire" and "I'm so lonesome I could cry" are absolute fire 🔥and absolutely definitely worth reacting to. 😊 ❤ blessings to you & yours from Ohio.

The first time I saw Volbeat was in 2017 when they opened for Metallica. I've been a fan ever since. I like the singer"s voice. Almost like if Elvis sang for a metal band.

volbeat is very popular in the USA, even though they come from Denmark, they have a huge fan base around the world

I had known there is Volbeat band out there for decades but I had only tuned into their music approximately at the same time yo did. Sadly Rob Caggiano had parted with Voldbeat so the band stand for a test in Sao Paulo later this year. Volbeat nationally known in Denmark their success most came abroad from their US tour which began in June 2012 (Baltimore, Toronto, Detroit, Billings, Boston, Tempe, San Francisco, and Weyburn).

Brilliant band, would suggest any song from their Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies album, all tracks have a western feel and some based on real life people such as Doc Holliday & Pearl Hart. The Nameless One is an excellent track to start with.

Why you haven't heard about a lot of bands is because you're Americans. There's a lot of good bands in Europe that never reach a big audience in USA. Volbeat is from Denmark. The countries in Northern Europe, (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland) have so many good bands. I like Volbeat when they lean more towards metal but a lot of their songs are more type of Rockabilly. 🤓🇸🇪
@NothingElseMatters7776 ай бұрын
100% agree. Most of the bands I listen to these days are from Europe - and I've lived in the U.S. my entire life. Lol. There's so much talent in Europe in the metal genre (pretty much every sub-genre of metal). I'd extend the countries you listed to include Italy, Germany and Austria. Some good bands from those countries, as well (I'm thinking of bands like Wind Rose, Visions of Atlantis, Elvellon, Temperance, etc.).

You hit the nail on the head. America is still drunk hip hop and rap. I'm a rock n roller from the 60s and 70's. I hate the music force fed us here. It's mostly crap.
