“War is not a pleasant experience, but who else would protect this land unless we are willing to do it ourselves?” - Simo Häyhä Häyhä was a soldier in the Finnish army during what historians call the “Winter War" which began on November 30, 1939, when half a million Soviet Red Army troops invaded Finland. Although the war only lasted 105 days, 98 of which Häyhä was active, the Finn sniper would walk away with 505 confirmed kills, earning him the name "the White Death", & making him one of the deadliest (if not the deadliest) snipers of all time. @@anttityykila9384 I really like finnish people. You have a perfectly fine culture, theres no need to spread corrupt history. In the oldest writings that describe the origins of our gods comes from Iceland. They tell that Oden/Odinn/Wothanaz is germanic deitys. The texts even describe how Oden led hes poeple to Scandinavia. 99.99 % of all archeological findings concerning Frej Freja and Oden comes from Sweden, Denmark and Norway and iceland. Do you really think thats a coincidence? Wothanaz is Oden in proto-Germanic... On the other hand the finnish culture speak of a deity named Ukko a.k.a Perkele. And that also have a very cool story behind it!! But its not cool to spread missinformation to people that doesent know better.

@@anttityykila9384 You should seriously stop trying to claim viking longships as some kind of Finnish invention. That just make you look dumb. There are absolutely no historian facts behind that. The only traces of viking longships in finland comes from Skandinavian travelers. My wife have dna matches with dna samples taken from grave mounds that are >7000 years old. And we both are 100% scandinavian. Wouldnt we have matching dna with at least some of the finnish people too If it is as you say? :D www.bradshawfoundation.com/scandinavia/introduction.php here you have cavepaintings of long ships. made in sweden. I seriously dont doubt that finnish people had boats. But you didnt have boats as good as Skandinavian boats. otherwise finns would have been the great men that went vikingr discovering new land. ;) The only thing you get right is that Hitler were interested in the high amount of "Aryan" dna wich actually finns have pretty much of. So thats true. Odin isnt aryan btw. Odin is a germanic forebarer. And swedes have the highest amount of ancient germanic DNA of all people in the world. Now you go figure.. ;)

Very nice to find this very beautiful, powerful and deeply grieving piece just today, since I'm facing one more of my acute depressive episodes. Having accompanied the musical progressive, prog-rock derived and 'avant garde' scenario along more than 50 years ( I'm a 71 years old medical doctor and also musician ), I have observed the prevalence of music with a very dark and gothic inspiration mostly along the last decades. I have always loved this darker view of things since I was young, but not so much as now. I think new musicians presently produce more and more music within this feel due to the terrible times we are facing. Yes, that's the true sound of our era. Best regards from very distant ( geographically ) Rio de Janeiro, South America. Nelson Soucasaux - Gynecologist, writer, visual artist, guitarist and composer.

This kind of music comes from and revives our common memories as humanity from ancient times, has the power to dissolve the illusory rationalist culture europe sank so much into and can bring us back to a based, raw, human ground. If you're interested in history, you'll see our roots are same. For eg. Finnish language belongs to the same language family with Turkish, which is funny because Turks were Siberian shamans back in Asia before Islamic assimilation. The connection is obvious in throat singing.
